The trailer for Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage dropped today, so I decided it was finally time to check out the first movie.
Venom‘s never really boring, but it does take a while to put the symbiote together with Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock and really, finally start the meat of the movie. Mercifully, Hardy doesn’t mumble his way through the dialogue, although his accent bounces around a little.
The action sequences are fun, if sometimes hard to follow. Imagine All of Me meets Spider-Man.
This collaboration between Sony Pictures and Marvel is absolutely worth a watch. If you haven’t already seen the film, it deserves your attention.
