On this day in 1946, actor and musician Tim Curry was born in Grappenhall, Cheshire, England. He’s worked in theater, film, and television, often playing villains. He first found fame as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. He played Pennywise the Dancing Clown in the original miniseries based on Stephen King’s IT, Darkness in Legend, Long John Silver in Muppet Treasure Island, and Wadsworth the butler in Clue.
